What is the Veda?

The Veda is the ancient body of wisdom that is the source of the arts and sciences of Ayurvedic medicine, yoga, meditation, and the whole of Indian philosophy. The Veda is universal knowledge available within individual consciousness. It is the blueprint of creation.

Great Rishi’s and enlightened Seers with the ability to cognise from this state have blessed us with the ancient Vedic texts and sciences. These enlightening texts written in traditional Sanskrit have often been translated and misinterpreted by those lacking the level of consciousness to properly understand and convey the subtle teachings.

Thom Knoles

Thom Knoles is recognised as one of the world’s foremost teachers of the Veda’s true meaning and application. In this six-seminar course (73 hours in total), Thom delves deeply into the Veda and draws out pearls of wisdom that are nothing short of life-changing. This profound course was originally held over a series of retreats held in the Blue Mountains. We now enjoy the recordings of the original lectures and simulate a non-residential retreat experience with an advanced meditation program over a long weekend.

A note from Thom

What will I learn?

Students of  Exploring the Veda learn techniques for deepening meditation, correcting old habits of thinking and fast-tracking growth to higher states of consciousness.

We’ll explore the Vedic understanding of different states of consciousness, true yoga, love and relationships, time, how to live without fear, karma, manifestation, and so much more.

Beyond that, students receive advanced techniques exclusive to this course, enjoy delicious food, in-depth Q&A, an advanced meditation program, and foster connections with like-minded individuals. Each instalment is like a mini-retreat, the experience is both transformative and fun.

How long is the course?

The complete Exploring the Veda Course consists of six instalments, which are spread out over the course of 12 months. Each of the instalments is run over a long weekend and can be enjoyed individually, with no obligation to complete all six. However, the course must be completed in sequential order as one seminar leads naturally into the next.

Each instalment is facilitated by Stef with extensive Q&A. Stef is incredibly passionate about Vedic knowledge, she’s been studying this ancient wisdom for over 11 years and facilitating this course for 8 years.

The weekends run in the following format. Times vary slightly from one instalment to the next.

Friday     –     4.00pm to 9.30pm

Saturday –     12.00pm to 6.30pm

Sunday    –    12.00pm to 6.30pm
